Sorry we haven't updated this blog for a while we have been super busy!
Term Three is almost over and it has gone by sooooo quickly!
In class this term we have been working on our speech writing, we all presented our speeches in class last week, and we all did well! Miss Ayrton had the hard job of chossing a few of us to represent our school at the Thames and Waikato Competition. Sebastian, Bryanna and Sam were chosen to represent our school. Sebastian speech was on being left handed, Bryanna's was on Friday the 13th and Sam's was on School Uniforms. Well done to Sebastian and Bryanna who were awarded 2nd place in their categories :)
In maths we have been working through a geometry unit and problem solving. We have begun a poetry unit in class and we all want to write some scary, doom and gloom poems!!! Miss Ayrton has been teaching us how to play Volleyball and we have just started on Basketball.
Near the start of the term we had our school cross country. We usually run it on one of the parents farms but it was far too wet so we ran it along the new Rail Trail, it was a longer course than usual but we all finished it. We then went on to White Cluster and we did well.

Wooohoo!!
We have got the Te Puru Sevens coming up which we are all looking forward to. We have our school Calf Club in the first week of term four so we have started doing our art for this. We made some really neat clocks, that actually work!! We have started painting some pots and we are going to attempt to grow something in them :)
