We have had a busy week in Room Three. We have been working on our atlas and dictionary skills. We have been learning how to use an atlas properly and put things in alphabetical order and so on. In maths we have been looking at perimeter, area and volume of different shapes. In reading we have looking at finding the meaning of unknown words and locating facts within a text. We have read some interesting articles on Jean Batten and the man who invited pain killers! On Friday night we had a school disco in the hall. We had quite a few children come from other schools and we had games, sold drinks, chocolates and chippies and we made $297.00 for our school camp!!!
